Hadas Trost joins the Myrtle Farm staff as an intern this year. With three years of early childhood education and a preschool teaching degree from The Kibbutzim College of Education and The Wingate Institute in Israel, she is currently studying at the Montessori Institute of Advanced Studies in Castro Valley towards her Montessori teaching certificate.
Hadas was born and raised in a collective community, called a Kibbutz, where kids take part in everyday activities, much like in Montessori. After graduating, she taught preschool until her family moved to the Bay Area in 1999. She has been working as a teacher’s assistant for the past three years. In her free time she loves to read books, work in her garden, and spend time with her family and friends. |
